It's a combination bar and bike repair shop, and it has a pretty big selection of unusual beers and a cool atmosphere. Sometimes they have events like trivia nights or potlucks, too.
Friendly staff and customers. Great bike knowledge on the shop side and excellent selection of local and craft beer. Real darts, excellent shuffleboard table, and a great Stiga ping pong table if you like table tennis. The place is always clean and we'll kept.
Had a very nice time at Velo Garage and Tap House! I've participated in a few of their night time bike rides and always enjoyed them. The leader always rides at a comfortable pace and the stops are nicely spaced. This was my first time enjoying the establishment. They have a very nice selection of local and regional brew. The bike shop is nicely stocked with good gear. The dart board and table tennis both saw plenty enjoyable action. They have a nice amount of restrooms. There was filtered water for filling your water bottle pre or post ride. The bikes offered for sale (new and used) were good and nicely priced based on my judgment. The special event I attended was fun.
In short, I've got nothing bad to say and plenty reasons to enjoy a return trip.
Great fun! Ping pong, shuffle board, darts, and fun peoplen. What more can you ask for?
Nice selection of cold craft beers on tap and a great bottle listing. Also had some pour over coffee, super delicious. The Velo crew and Deschutes Brewery were a great combo together. We did a little beer/bike crawl to 4 KC establishments. Started and ended at Velo. It was a really fun ride. Velo has a really cool bike shop attached. Careful you don't overindulgence in brews because otherwise you might go home with more than you came for due to all the great products they stock. Definitely recommend this place. You don't have to ride to go, the environment is very relaxed and welcoming. Will return.
