Friendly and helpful staff/nurses/nurse practitioners during this time of trial and error. We came in after having tests done elsewhere and got right to fertility treatments asap. The NKC office is a bit small and the actual doctor is there only certain days but it's saves me about 40 min drive time coming from the north!
THIS COMPANY/GROUP IS OUT FOR MONEY!!! Barely ran any tests on me to see what was going on. And they charge for everything even with my insurance covering everything besides IUI and IVF. My insurance covers for the Semen Analysis, they still charged us anyway claiming its because in case the insurance doesn't go through. Even though I had a document from my insurance company stating it is covered. So then they said once the insurance pays for it you will get a refund. Mind you that refund took 3 months to get even with me calling and asking once a week. They wont even do ultrasounds that are actually considered diagnostic and can be claimed that way with insurance so they can get money. They just wont claim it then. And they jumped to saying I needed the HCG shots and Femera to IUI. Mind you I hadn't had any really testing done. In order to use Femera, you have to do an ultrasound that you pay for out of pocket, along with the HCG shot. Otherwise, they wont give you Femera to try. Didn't even schedule me to have an HSG done to make sure tubes and my uterus was in good working shape. Oh and there is no actual doctor at this location. All Nurse Practitioners. So I switched to a different doctor. Called this office to get the couple of blood results they had done and asked for them to be sent over to new doctor. They charge you to ask for a fax to be sent to the new doctor your seeing, and claim its a 3 week wait!! Absolutely RIDICULOUS! Stay clear of this office and the other one in Overland Park. The whole company wants money, that's it.
Horrible customer service, their hours of operation are durring normal business hours so I can never get a hold of them and when I call 99% of the time I get the answering machine. Also the one time I ever was able to get an appointment they said they'd schedule a return appointment and never did. I had to call to make another one on my own only to find out not only did they never schedule one but now they don't do appointments unless you have a doctor there or referral, which unnecessarily wasted weeks of my time.
Amazing Customer Service. Their Patient Portal allows you to communicate w/ the office without having to leave messages or call numerous times. From the moment you walk in they attempt to figure out what is best for YOU and your wallet! Excited about my future care with this group !
