The staff is very pleasant, courteous, & helpful! My favorite employee is Jimmy. The young man who I always make sure waits on me because I love that he changes his hair color! I'm a proponent of being different ot really & truly being myself. I forgot to put my husband's birthday card in the bag even though I paid for it. When I called all I said was ,"I was just in the store..." & He replied, You forgot your husband's birthday card!" ( We had talked about him being 3 months younger than me & every year he never lets me live it down!). I asked him, "How did he know it it was me?". His answer, " I always remember people who respect me for being me!". That is something I've lived with all my life because I dare to be different! The store on Swift carries most all name brand products & Bruce's which is made right outside of Lafayette, LA for just over $1.50 a can. At any other store here or Louisiana the lg. cans like this are at least $4.00+/-. I always leave a couple of cans in case someone else from Louisiana shops there because the taste is unbelievably delicious; but I do stack up! Their cards are very inexpensive & I will walk across after getting my prescription filled (Plus, they have large shade trees. I always feel safe no matter what time I go because 2 doors down is the shop for all of law enforcement to buy their wears etcetera. It seems as though my favorite men & women in blue always have at least one marked or unmarked car out front. As a slogan goes, "There's a friendly smile on every aisle!". They drop everything and make you feel like you are the most important person in their day! That's happens less & less all the time. So, Corporate, from one CEO to another at the very least Jimmy deserves a raise and a learning process for moving up the corporate ladder even if he has to start as a store assistant manager or store manager. I would have never had become a CEO the first time I earned it but I was given the tools & opportunities to learn. If you ever did a show Under Cover Boss & went to this location you'd understand why I took time to let you know just how special he is & what a wonderful crew you have at your always clean store! 10 stars on employees! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Stop was very messy, and it is most of the time,, needs more employee's to keep it up to standards
Always disorganized, like every other Dollar General. Service is slow and never consistent.
I skip this specific dollar general. Always dirty. Never stocked. Rude employees. They complain if you use coupons. Better to go to a different one. Or pay the extra buck at cvs across the street.
we love this store. my kids love the toys and candy. I love the fact they can buy a toy and when it breaks it only cost a dollar.
