I delivered my 1st child here in June 2017 and if I could give them 50 stars, I would. Absolutely fantastic experience. Dr. James Morgan is the greatest physician on the planet and was extremely supportive and encouraging not only throughout pregnancy but also throughout labor/delivery. His experience is invaluable. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Wright, provided the PERFECT epidural. It didn't hurt at all. The nursing staff during the delivery and during our 2 day stay in the hospital took such great care of us and my husband and I both felt that everyone genuinely cared about us. If and when I ever decide to have another baby, I will absolutely go to NKCH and will do everything I can to ensure Dr. Morgan is my doc!
Went to the er with a swollen knee unable to walk on it without a lot of pain. The np did an xray and sent me home, told me to see an orthopedic and would not help the pain. I was offered crutches to walk with and that was it. Next day still in pain and the orthopedic canceled the appointment. Need help and in pain? Go elsewhere!
Amazing staff - friendly, cheerful and very knowledgeable. Amazing doctors. It's a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. If you're looking for a hospital that does everything with kindness and compassion this is YOUR hospital!!
Dr. Jay Robinson - Neurology....Best Dr. ever. Kind. Compassionate. Knowledgable. Listens. Gets the whole picture of what's going on and takes into account everything to make sure his diagnosis is correct. A doctor that actually gives a damn.
I love North Kansas City Hospital! The staff there has always been so polite, every floor I've been on. I gave birth here back in March and couldn't love the nurses and doctors enough! My midwife was Kim and she's amazing! I had an awesome birthing experience and the nurses were so sweet and helpful through my laboring. I love everyone here. Tamsin delivered my baby and was amazing, unfortunately she moved away and I was her very last delivery in Kansas City. I will always recommend this hospital to everyone and I don't have one negative thing to say! Thanks for always being awesome!!!
