This is possibly the most popular park north of the river. There are multiple playing fields, tennis & handball courts, a one-mile trail and training & stretching stops. It's a popular spot for family and group celebrations, with several pavillons
Great place to walk, the perimeter is exactly a mile. Tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball diamonds and play areas for kids. Also has restrooms and water fountains...
The restrooms are often locked and in need of cleaning. They should open at 7:00 am and rearly are open at that time. Everything else there is satisfactory.
TONS of activities here. The trail is great for walking and running. If you play Pokemon go you can get out your phone, there's 3 gyms and about 8 stops on a pretty tight loop. There are tennis courts here, you can also play racquetball or "wall ball". Lots of fields and shelters, and occasionally there are soccer goals set up during a warm day. Great place to bring your friends and family for picnica or celebrations. They have events here all the time that are a lot of fun. It's close to the high school which is good for students. This park is a lot of fun, seriously. It's worth a trip out to NKC, especially if it's not too long of a drive for you. Go out and get some sun people :)
Awesome place to run. Always seems clean. The track is 3 legs and exactly 1 mile long. Next to a school so there are usually cops around. I’m pretty comfortable running here at night.
